Is the Master's Certificate an academic master's degree?

No. The Master's Certificate in Interior Design is a professional certificate program, not an academic master's degree. It is designed to prepare students for professional interior design practice through hands-on coursework, technical training, and portfolio development.

How long does the program take?

HSID Dallas offers five timeline options: Express (6 months), Fast (10–12 months), Classic (18 months), Flex (24 months), and Tailored, a customized timeline based on the student's needs. Contact admissions for current schedules and availability.

Yes. The Flex pacing option offers evening and Saturday classes designed for busy professionals, and the Classic pace is designed for students balancing career, family, and personal commitments.

Does the program include hands-on instruction?

Yes. Coursework is project-based: students complete the full design and presentation of residential spaces, culminating in the design of an entire home in the Fundamentals course, and continue with client-specific and concept-based projects throughout the curriculum.
